How do I submit a reservation request?
To send a reservation request:
- On a listing, click Book.
- Review your reservation details to make sure everything is correct.
- Your reservation will be sent to our booking department who will review the booking and send you a confirmation link within 24 hours to submit payment.
- Add your payment information, including any coupon code you may have.
- Agree to the policies and terms, including the cancellation policy and house rules.
Some homes require that you send a copy of a valid state ID or drivers’ license before confirming a reservation, which allows us to get more information about whose booking the home.
Are the homes suitable for children ?
Yes, children are able to stay in the homes and some homes do include infant furniture and kids toys and games. Infants (children under 2 years old) aren’t counted as guests when you’re booking a reservation and don’t incur any extra costs.
Do I have to sign a contract?
Yes you will be required to sign a contracts and rental agreement online prior to check-in.
How do I contact a host before booking a reservation?
If you want to contact us before booking a reservation you can either email us at info@xclusivepropertiesllc.com or call us at (504) 300-6217. We are available daily between 9:00am – 5:00pm CST.
Do I get a full refund if I cancel?
If you cancel a reservation, your amount is non-refundable. Cancel within 48 hours of booking and 30 days before check-in to get a full refund. Cancel up to 14 days before check in and get a 50% refund (minus service fees). Cancel within 7 days of your trip and the reservation is non-refundable.
When will I get my refund?
Once Xclusive Properties Management issues your refund, the time it takes for it to arrive in your account depends on the payment method you used. The average amount of time for each payment method is:
- Major credit cards (and prepaid credit cards): 3-10 business days
- PayPal Account Balance: Usually Within 24 hours
What methods of payment do you accept?
We support several different payment methods for your convenience. Payment options include:
- Most major credit cards and pre-paid credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover, JCB) as well as many debit cards that can be processed as credit
- PayPal
- Cash
- Cash App
How does Xclusive Properties Management handle security deposits?
If a home requires a security deposit, the guest doesn’t pay the deposit when they make the reservation. Instead, the guest will only be charged if a host makes a claim on their security deposit.
Do I have to pay the security deposit upfront?
If the home requires a security deposit, you won’t be charged unless a claim is file within 14 days of your checkout.
What are the additional fees?
Service fees
The service fee for homes is generally 3%. This fee is calculated from the booking subtotal (the nightly rate plus cleaning fee, additional guest fee, if applicable, and taxes) and is automatically added to every reservation. Guests see this fee on the checkout page before they book a reservation.
Cleaning fees
The cleaning fee is a flat one-time fee which is applied to each reservation and covers cleaning and preparing the home before your arrival as well as after your departure. This fee does not include any additional cleaning while the home is occupied. Cleaning fees usually vary between $100 - $150. Additional daily cleaning can be added for $50/daily.
What happens if my reservation request is declined or expires?
If your reservation request is declined, no charge is made for the reservation and you’re free to book another home.
Why did the price of my reservation change after I selected dates?
Before you add dates, the nightly price you see for a listing is the home’s default or minimum price. Some homes have custom prices that override the default or minimum for specific dates or time periods (including holidays, weekends, and week-long or month-long reservations). To view the most accurate price, add dates when searching for a place.
How long does it take for you to respond to my reservation request?
More than half of all reservation requests are accepted within 2 hours of being received. The vast majority of replies are received within 12 hours. You’ll be updated by email about the status of your request.
When am I charged for a reservation?
Your payment information is collected AFTER your reservation request is approved.
Can I change my payment method?
If you would like to use a different payment method to make your final payment please contact us for assistance info@xclusivepropertiesllc.com or (504) 300-6217.
How do I pay for a long-term reservation?
If you book a reservation for 28 nights or more, you’ll be charged a first month down payment when the reservation is confirmed. Then, the rest of the nights will be charged on a monthly basis.
What time am I able to check-in for?
Check-in Time is 3:00pm.
What time do I need to check-out for?
Check-out Time is 11:00am.
Can I check-in early?
Thanks for contacting us! Yes do allow early check-in if available! If you are looking to check-in before 3pm, the earliest check-in time for no additional charge would be 2:00pm if the home is available. If you would like to check-in earlier than 2:00pm there would be an additional $50 fee. Please contact us regarding early check-in to see if its available.
Can I check-out later?
The latest checkout time we allow is 3:00pm. Late checkout is also an additional $50. Please contact us regarding late check-out to see if its available.
Do you store luggage?
Arriving earlier than expected or departing later than checkout time, we are able to store your luggage in the home while the cleaning crew prepares the home for your arrival or departure.
Will I receive keys to my home?
No keys are required to enter the homes! You must access the home via the front door. To access the home, place your hand over the keypad to wake it up and then enter your 4 digit code passcode (last 4 digits of your cell #) and press *. To lock it, simply place your entire hand over the keypad and the door will lock.
Is parking free?
No, there is free parking! Each home has at least 1 private driveway that accommodates at least two cars. There is also ample free street parking directly in front of all of our homes.
Is there any public transportation nearby?
There is a bus stop directly across the street from the home. The bus takes you directly to downtown New Orleans and to major tourist attractions such as French Quarter, Bourbon St etc.
Am I allowed to bring my pet?
Absolutely No Pets are allowed. Please note there will be a $250 fee if it is found that any pets were brought into the property.
Am I allowed to smoke in any of the properties?
We DO NOT allow smoking in any of our properties. However, you’re welcome to smoke inside the house for a $250 charge, you can smoke on the porch or in the yard for free. Just make sure you put the ashes inside the ashtray. We also do not have a problem if you consume medical marijuana on the porch as well however, we do have a zero drug policy on illicit drugs.
Am I able to throw a party at the home?
No parties are allowed! Excessive noise is subject to cancellation of stay. All guest funds will be forfeited for the entire stay. We have neighbors that have been instructed to call the police. Meaning screaming, or loud music. I’m not here to monitor your every move have a good time, just don’t hold a party or make excessive noise. Please respect our home. If found that you have a gathering or party event with more than the amount of guest allocated inside your reservation we charge an additional $50 per guest.
Can I burn candles or incense?
Candles are for decorative purposes only! Please do not burn any candles, incense, scented oil, oil burners etc. as this creates a fire hazard for us and our neighbors. If you choose to burn anything you will be charged $250.
What happens if I break something?
We understand that accidents happen. But we do ask that you please let us know when they do. Chances are we can fix them as effortlessly as possible which also means better chances of having your full security deposit returned too.
Am I able to bring more guests other than the guest on my booking form?
No Additional guest sleeping inside the house then the amount listed on our original reservation. Meaning if you book for 2 people you can not have more than 2 at the house at all times. Our maximum amount is 6 guest. We charge an additional $50 per guest after 6 guest.
