House Rules

•Absolutely No Pets are allowed. Please note there will be a $500 fee if pets are brought into the property

•Check-in is at 3pm, and check-out is by 11am. Arriving slightly earlier, or want that extra hour to sleep? Should be fine, but please check with us first.

•You're welcome to smoke inside the house for a $500 charge, you can smoke on the porch or in the yard for free. Just make sure you put the ashes inside the ashtray.

•We also do not have a problem if you consume medical marijuana on the porch as well.

•We do have a zero drug policy on illicit drugs.

•Excessive noise is subject to cancellation of stay. All guest funds will be forfeited for the entire stay. We have neighbors that have been instructed to call the police. Meaning screaming, or loud music. I'm not here to monitor your every move have a good time, just don't hold a party or make excessive noise.

•Please respect our home. If found that you have a gathering or party event with more than the amount of guest allocated inside your reservation we charge an additional $50 per guest.

•Candles are for decorative purposes only! Please do not burn any candles, incense, scented oil, oil burners etc. as this creates a fire hazard for us and our neighbors. If you choose to burn anything you will be charged $250.

•Whilst we do a thorough professional clean between each guest stay, we kindly ask that prior to leaving, you clean and put away any dishes or kitchenware used and put any dirty towels in the hamper. It helps us get through our cleaning process quicker and allows us to keep cleaning costs down for you and future guests.

•We understand that accidents happen. But we do ask that you please let us know when they do. Chances are we can fix them as effortlessly as possible which also means better chances of having your full security deposit returned too.

•No Additional guest sleeping inside the house then the amount listed on our orginal reservation. Meaning if you book for 2 people you can not have more than 2 at the house at all times. We do not count infants as guest. Our maximum amount is 12 guest. We charge an additional $50 per guest after 12 guest.

•We have annoying neighbors that have nothing better do with their lives, so if you're planning to have a party it will get shut down real quick.

•The easiest way to disrupt an enjoyable stay is a plumbing problem. To prevent this, we kindly ask you to please place things like condoms, tampons, paper towel, and sanity napkins in the sanitary bin.

•Please remove your makeup BEFORE using our face and hand towels. Makeup remover wipes are provided in the home. Please do not use our white towels to remove your makeup because it stains our towels and makes it impossible to reuse for our next guest. Stain/Ruined towels will be charged $25 per towel.

•Sheets, Pillows, Mattresses & Mattress Pads stained with blood or makeup will also incur an additional charge.

•Please note there will be an additional cleaning fee if home is left extremely dirty.

•Unexpected late checkout delays our cleaning staff and sometimes impacts other guests’ reservations. Please note that failure to checkout at 11:00am will result in a $200 late checkout fee.

Neighborhood overview
You will be super close to French Quarter! It’s a 10 minute drive by car. The St. Claude Corridor has quickly emerged as an alternative street scene filled with equal parts ambition and alternative living. Rooted in the city's Post-Katrina influx of artists and new residents, this emerging avenue, known as Good Children until 1850, hugs the "New Marigny" and Bywater into the Ninth Ward. In recent years, an exploding number of pubs, theaters and restaurants have joined institutions like Saturn Bar to create a dining and entertainment destination. An offshoot of North Rampart just upriver from Esplanade on the border of the French Quarter, St. Claude crosses the Industrial Canal, traversing the Holy Cross neighborhood into the town of Arabi in St. Bernard Parish. But in the less than three miles St. Claude Avenue reaches from Esplanade to the Industrial Canal, you’ll find an approachable neighborhood chock full of action.The corridor is home to the beautifully restored St. Roch Market food hall, affordable local restaurants like Sugar Park, The Sneaky Pickle and Red’s Chinese and artful little galleries and performance spaces.
Getting around
We are located about 8-10 minutes from the French Quarter & 12-15 minutes from downtown New Orleans! There is free street parking in the surrounding area, just make sure to pay attention to street signs. All New Orleans has to offer is just a quick Uber ride away. Located on the historic Desire bus route, it is a short ride or walk to the Marigny and the French Quarter.
