House Rules

•Absolutely No Pets are allowed. Please note there will be a $500 fee if pets are brought into the property

•Check-in is at 3pm, and check-out is by 11am. Arriving slightly earlier, or want that extra hour to sleep? Should be fine, but please check with us first.

•You're welcome to smoke inside the house for a $500 charge, you can smoke on the porch or in the yard for free. Just make sure you put the ashes inside the ashtray.

•We also do not have a problem if you
consume medical marijuana on the porch as well.

•We do have a zero drug policy on illicit drugs.

•Excessive noise is subject to cancellation of stay. All guest funds will be forfeited for the entire stay. We have neighbors that have been instructed to call the police. Meaning screaming, or loud music. I'm not here to monitor your every move have a good time, just don't hold a party or make excessive noise.

•Please respect our home. If found that you have a gathering or party event with more than the amount of guest allocated inside your reservation we charge an additional $50 per guest.

•Candles are for decorative purposes only! Please do not burn any candles, incense, scented oil, oil burners etc. as this creates a fire hazard for us and our neighbors. If you choose to burn anything you will be charged $250.

•Whilst we do a thorough professional clean between each guest stay, we kindly ask that prior to leaving, you clean and put away any dishes or kitchenware used and put any dirty towels in the hamper. It helps us get through our cleaning process quicker and allows us to keep cleaning costs down for you and future guests.

•We understand that accidents happen. But we do ask that you please let us know when they do. Chances are we can fix them as effortlessly as possible which also means better chances of having your full security deposit returned too.

•No Additional guest sleeping inside the house then the amount listed on our orginal reservation. Meaning if you book for 2 people you can not have more than 2 at the house at all times. Our maximum amount is 6 guest. We charge an additional $50 per guest after 6 guest.

•We have annoying neighbors that have nothing better do with their lives, so if
you're planning to have a party it will get shut down real quick.

•The easiest way to disrupt an enjoyable stay is a plumbing problem. To prevent this, we kindly ask you to please place things like condoms, paper towels, tampons, and sanity napkins in the sanitary bin.

•Please remove your makeup BEFORE using our face and hand towels. Makeup remover wipes are provided in the home. Please do not use our white towels to remove your makeup because it stains our towels and makes it impossible to reuse for our next guest. Stain/Ruined towels will be charged $25 per towel.

•Sheets, Pillows, Mattresses & Mattress Pads stained with blood or makeup will also incur an additional charge.

•Unexpected late checkout delays our cleaning staff and sometimes impacts other guests’ reservations. Please note that failure to checkout at 11:00am will result in a $200 late checkout fee.

There is also 4 separate recliner sofas in the den which can accommodate more people. There is also plenty of room for kids to run and play.

The lovely open living area, which includes all new furniture & appliances, beautiful ceramic floors, central heating and air conditioner, high speed wifi, and off-street parking for 4 cars. Each room features smartTVs with basic local channels.

Enjoy cooking and eating in our newly renovated Kitchen – Modern with granite counters and wood cabinetry. Our kitchen features a Keurig and fully stocked with cookware, cups, plates, bowls, and utensils necessary to make a gourmet meal.

Located in The Bywater, known for its beautiful street murals and just minutes from the St. Claude Avenue Streetcar and buses.

There’s plenty to offer within a short distance. Try out any of the nearby bars and restaurants for some of New Orleans' best dining. For shopping head to the French Quarter, just a 10 min ride away. To explore the rest of the city, we are centrally located from everywhere and there are a couple of bus routes nearby.

Just east of the French Quarter, The Bywater neighborhood is one of New Orleans’ best kept secrets. Combining old-time New Orleans culture with a contemporary bohemianism, here you’ll find art exhibits, artisan crafts, unique local restaurants, cafes, and thrift stores to explore.
Getting around
We are located about 8-10 minutes from the French Quarter & 12-15 minutes from downtown New Orleans! There is free street parking in the surrounding area, just make sure to pay attention to street signs. All New Orleans has to offer is just a quick Uber ride away. Located on bus route, it is a short ride or walk to the Marigny and the French Quarter.
